MH620 VTOL UAV – Long-Endurance Hybrid Drone for Professional Missions

The MH620 VTOL UAV is a professional vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) fixed-wing aircraft designed for long-endurance, heavy-payload missions. With its 6.2-meter wingspan, hybrid propulsion system, and rugged composite structure, the MH620 is built to perform in complex environments, making it the ideal choice for mapping, surveillance, logistics, and industrial inspections.

Large Airframe with Two Configurations

The MH620 is available in two versions:

Parameter Standard Version Pro Version
Length 3.4 m 3.7 m
Max Take-off Weight 120 kg 150 kg
Cruise Speed 28 m/s 35 m/s

Both models feature a wingspan of 6.2 m and a robust landing gear height of 0.35 m, with an overall height of 1.3 m. The structure weighs ~28 kg (excluding the fuel tank) and is crafted from carbon fiber, fiberglass, Kevlar, and PVC, ensuring strength with low weight.

Hybrid Power System for Endurance & Reliability

The MH620 uses a hybrid propulsion setup:

  • Rotor Section: T-MOTOR V11 (or equivalent), delivering 30–40 kg of thrust per axis for stable VTOL capability.

  • Fixed-Wing Section: B2G290 EFI gasoline engine (or equivalent) with ≥60 kg thrust, ensuring efficient cruise power and long-range stability.

A 12S 22Ah battery powers onboard systems, while the fuel engine supports endurance of up to 14 hours with fuel consumption at ~2.4 L/h (empty load).

Flight Performance & Control

  • Endurance: 14 hours (empty payload)

  • Max Speed: 50 m/s

  • Cruise Speed: 28–35 m/s (depending on version)

  • Never-Exceed Speed: 70 m/s

  • Stall Speed: 23 m/s at 100 kg MTOW

  • Max Control Range:

    • RC manual: 0.5–1 km

    • Ground station: 5–300 km

CommuniNet series of data and video links are goos solutions for this VTOL Drone. With different models such as MND-142, or MND-1440, one can reach from 50km up to more than 300km range. Also models such as MND-142 Mesh allow for mesh networking between different VTOL units to allow them to extend the communication range or perform different missions in different environments.

With wind resistance up to Level 6 in flight and Level 5 during takeoff, the MH620 delivers reliability in challenging weather. Its service ceiling of 4,000–6,000 m makes it suitable for mountainous and high-altitude operations.

Payload & Mission Capabilities

The MH620 features a modular payload bay in the nose and front fuselage, supporting EO/IR gimbals (i.e., U30TIRM Pro, A30TR-50, H30N Gimbal, SIYI ZT30 Gimbal), LiDAR scanners (Lightware Radar LW20/C, Flightcase Radar 24GHz, TF02-Pro LiDAR), mapping cameras (AQ600 / AQ600 Pro, MS600 / MS600 Pro), or custom mission equipment such as winch payloads (10kg payload winch, 55kg payload winch, 150kg payload winch) or other models. Payloads are easily integrated thanks to standardized interfaces.

Rugged & All-Weather Operation

Operating temperatures range from -20°C to +45°C, and the aircraft can withstand light rain (not suitable for icing conditions). Combined with high-strength composite materials, the MH620 is engineered for consistent performance in diverse climates.

A Complete Solution for Enterprise UAV Missions

Whether for long-range surveillance, environmental monitoring, cargo delivery, or mapping, the MH620 VTOL UAV combines endurance, payload flexibility, and advanced hybrid power to provide unmatched operational efficiency.
