Overview of Eagle Eye MS-5A

The Eagle Eye MS-5A is a high-performance industrial gimbal camera designed to meet the demanding requirements of modern aerial surveillance and reconnaissance missions. This advanced gimbal boasts a robust design, with a maximum diameter of 508mm and a height of 700mm, weighing in at less than 80kg. It is engineered to operate in extreme temperatures, ranging from -45°C to 60°C, ensuring reliable performance in a wide variety of environmental conditions. It can be assembled on various types of unmanned aerial vehicles and other aviation carriers, as well as ships and vehicle carriers, so as to meet the requirements of sea and air use, making it an ideal camera gimbal drone solution.

The Eagle Eye MS-5A features multiple communication interfaces, including 1x RS422 and 4x HD-SDI outputs, providing versatile connectivity options. MWIR Sensor

Equipped with a state-of-the-art MWIR sensor with optical zoom, the Eagle Eye MS-5A covers a wavelength range of 3.7μm to 4.8μm with a resolution of 640 x 512 pixels. It offers multiple fields of view (FOV) configurations, including 30° x 24° for navigation, 7.44° x 6° for long-range, 1.86° x 1.5° for medium-range, and 0.47° x 0.37° for short-range, allowing for detection at distances up to 30km and recognition at 20km.

NIR and SWIR Sensors

The NIR sensor operates within a wavelength range of 0.65μm to 0.9μm, providing 1080P resolution. It features a continuous zoom horizontal FOV from 30.6° x 17.2° to 1.53° x 0.86°, and a short-range FOV of 0.47° x 0.37°, with a detection range of 45km and recognition range of 30km. The SWIR sensor covers wavelengths from 0.95μm to 1.7μm, with a resolution of 640 x 512 pixels, and similar FOV configurations to the MWIR sensor, supporting detection up to 30km and recognition up to 20km.

EO Sensor

The EO sensor, operating in the 0.486μm to 0.656μm wavelength range, delivers 1080P resolution and a continuous zoom horizontal FOV from 30.6° x 17.2° to 1.53° x 0.86°, enabling detection up to 12km and recognition up to 7km.

Servo System

The servo system of the Eagle Eye MS-5A allows for 360° continuous panning and pitch adjustments from +45° to -120°. It boasts maximum angular speeds of ≥40°/s in elevation and ≥60°/s in pan, with an angular speed acceleration of ≥60°/s². The gimbal ensures exceptional line-of-light stabilization accuracy of ≤10urad and geo-positioning accuracy of ≤20m per 10km.

Laser rangefinder

Additionally, the integrated laser rangefinder operates at a wavelength of 1064nm, with energy output of ≥80mj. It offers a ranging accuracy of ±2m and can measure distances from 300m to 30km.
