The Q20KTIRM Gimbal Camera is a multiple sensor gimbal camera with 4K resolution EO sensor with 20x optical zoom. The sensor is a SONY 1/2.5โ€ณ โ€œExmor Rโ€ CMOS with 8.51MP resolution. With a thermal sensor with 640ร—512 pixels resolution and digital zoom, as well as a 3km laser range finder to resolve the GPS location of the target, it is suitable for a variety of applications. It can be assembled on various types of unmanned aerial vehicles and other aviation carriers, as well as ships and vehicle carriers, so as to meet the requirements of sea and air use, making it an ideal camera gimbal drone solution.

Hardware Parameters

The Q20KTIRM Gimbal Camera is designed with advanced hardware parameters to ensure high performance and reliability. This camera includes a 20x optical zoom, with an aperture range from F2.0 to F3.8 and a focal length from 4.4 mm at the wide end to 88.4 mm at the telephoto end. It can achieve up to 30x zoom with Super Resolution and 12x digital zoom, providing a combined 240x zoom capability. The minimum working distance is 80 mm at the wide end and 800 mm at the telephoto end. The angle of view ranges from 70.2ยฐ (wide) to 4.1ยฐ (telephoto) horizontally. 

The EO camera offers both auto and manual focus options, ensuring precise and flexible image capturing. It boasts a signal-to-noise ratio (S/N) of 50dB, providing clear and high-quality images even in varying lighting conditions. IR Thermal Imager Specifications

For car-sized objects (4.2ร—1.8m), it has a detective distance of 2255 meters, a recognition distance of 564 meters, and a verified distance of 282 meters.

This thermal imager operates using an uncooled VOx long-wave (8ฮผm to 14ฮผm) detector with a resolution of 640ร—512 pixels and a pixel pitch of 12ฮผm. It employs an athermal prime lens for focusing, ensuring consistent performance across temperature variations. It supports multiple color palettes, including white hot, black hot, and pseudo color, and offers digital zoom capabilities ranging from 1x to 8x, providing detailed thermal imaging for a variety of applications.

The Q20KTIRM Gimbal Camera features advanced object tracking capabilities for both EO and IR cameras. The system boasts an update rate of deviation pixels at 50Hz, with an output delay of less than 5ms, ensuring real-time tracking performance. It can track objects with a minimum contrast of 5% and a signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of 4, enabling it to distinguish and follow targets even in challenging conditions.

The camera can handle object sizes ranging from 32ร—32 pixels to 128ร—128 pixels, with a tracking speed of ยฑ48 pixels per frame. Additionally, it has an object memory time of 100 frames, allowing it to maintain consistent tracking of moving targets.
